Splitting emotions,
Should I, shouldn’t I?
It’s the same thing again,
Wanting to have her,
Afraid to lose her,
It’s such a delicate balance,
That one wrong word
Could tip those precarious scales
And ruin the bond we have formed…
If only I could see the outcomes
Of my two choices,
Then I’d know exactly what to do,
Life doesn’t work like that though,
So an old friend’s advice comes to mind,
Just take a chance,
I need to weigh up the consequences,
Should I be conservative and wait ‘til it goes away?
Or should I charge head first into it…
And hope what I want comes out of it?
