It happened when I was playing a game with friends,
While taking a break,
I decided to mess with the football,
I flicked it up,
And took, what was supposed to be
A pot shot.
I hit it firmly with my instep
And was left in awe
As it sailed majestically through the air
And into the basketball hoop!
I grinned cheekily,
And raised my hand in triumph,
Knowing full well it was a fluke!
(this took place in Trinity Sports and Leisure, presumably during P.E. with classmates from Grange Community College; possibly my greatest sporting triumph)
