The teachers look at me angrily,
And they ask me,
How can you afford to be outside,
Spending time with your friends,
When you have your Leaving Cert,
In a matter of weeks?
Well, I reply,
Knowledge is indeed a valuable thing,
And it does come at a price,
But spending time with my friends?
That is priceless,
Which is why I can afford to do it.
